Save the date! CPFD Software announces that the next global Barracuda Virtual Reactor Users’ Conference is scheduled for June 29 – July 1, 2022 in Chicago.

Peter Blaser, Vice President of CPFD Software, will speak online on the topic “Engineering and Design in the Cloud” during the English language Technical Leaders Track on October 13 at AWS’s EMEA Manufacturing and Industrials Symposium.

CPFD Software is pleased to announce the release of Barracuda Virtual Reactor® 21.0.1, which is a maintenance release correcting a few issues and augmenting other features to increase efficiency.

CPFD and Tecplot, Inc. will present a joint webinar on September 22, 2021, “Analyzing Bubble Characteristics in Simulations of Fluidized Beds”. Specific features of Tecplot for Barracuda covered include Extract Blanked Zones, Extract Connected Regions, and Perform Integration.

CPFD Software announces the release of Barracuda Virtual Reactor® 21.0. This release is the first to support multi-GPU calculations, enabling users to run larger simulations than ever before, and to do so at faster speeds than any previous version of Virtual Reactor™.

CPFD will host a webinar on June 16, 2021, Getting Started with Virtual Reactor 21.0, to share the major features and enhancements of this release such as support for multi-GPU calculations.

Finally, the 13th International Conference on Fluidized Bed Technology is hosted by CFB on May 10-14, 2021 at Vancouver, Canada. The conference proceedings included multiple papers and video presentations involving Barracuda Virtual Reactor.
