About This Video
This video, created in conjunction with the National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL), demonstrates the early use of Barracuda Virtual Reactor for the simulation of a full-loop, cold-flow carbon capture unit (C2U). The simulation predicted the presence of riser slugging behavior for Geldart Group B particles, which was also observed in the experiment. The model was later expanded to include CO2 adsorption and desorption effects.
