About This Video
This video demonstrates the new embedded post-processing capabilities in Barracuda Virtual Reactor 20, thanks to our recent partnership with Tecplot, Inc. This example shows an FCCU regenerator with poor spent catalyst distribution due to the side-entry configuration, resulting in afterburn, high CO and NOx emissions. Increasing the combustion air through the main air blower (MAB) had minimal effect on CO despite the higher excess oxygen, but increased refractory erosion due to higher dilute phase entrainment and increased cyclone inlet velocities.
