CPFD Software 2019 HP Awards Finalist

As you all know, the HP Awards were cancelled due to severe flooding in the Houston area. We are pleased to announce that the HP Awards have been rescheduled for November 6th at The Houstonian Hotel, Club and Spa.


 

Hydrocarbon Processing, the downstream sector's leading technical publication, has announced the finalists for the 2019 HP Awards. CPFD Software is honored that its proprietary Barracuda Virtual Reactor® technology has been nominated as a finalist in the Best Fluid Flow Technology category.

A remarkable adoption of the CPFD technology has happened in the past few years. It wasn’t that long ago when Barracuda Virtual Reactor users were primarily large national or multinational oil companies. Today, refiners of all sizes on 6 continents use CPFD’s services and software to identify root cause of FCCU underperformance and reduce risk of changes through virtual testing. It’s fantastic that Hydrocarbon Processing’s advisory board has recognized this trend in FCC, and the even wider deployment that is underway due to current trends in refinery-petrochemicals integration."

Winners will be announced at the HP Awards gala that will be held September 19 at The Houstonian Hotel, Club and Spa in Houston, Texas.
