CPFD Software is glad to announce that it has entered into another 2-year software licensing contract with ENEA of Italy. ENEA will use CPFD Software’s Barracuda Virtual Reactor simulation software for the simulation of a dual fluidized bed (DFB) system. The objective of the DFB is the production of hydrogen intensified by the CO2 capture via solid sorbent.
ENEA has already been part of the global Barracuda Virtual Reactor user community through previous collaborations with CPFD, aimed at the modelling of several components of the EU research infrastructure ZECOMIX (Zero Emissions of Carbon with Mixed technologies).
