What I like most about the [CPFD] study is that it’s not only a study. It was built and realized by the 3rd party. We saw all process issues eliminated. This plant has been running with the redesigned calciner for about 2 years. We could increase the capacity with 100% secondary fuel rates and meet CO emissions requirements. All the engineering was done upfront with no trial and error, and no extended downtime. It’s quite obvious that CFD avoided the trial and error in the field due to virtual testing.
