CPFD Software is proud to continue our longstanding support of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) Annual meeting. This year’s AIChE Annual Meeting takes place in the Phoenix Convention Center November 11-18, 2022.
This year CPFD is sponsoring the Particle Technology Forum (PTF) Student Poster Awards. Additionally, Peter Blaser, VP of Operations, will be co-chairing the Fluidization: Modeling session on Monday, November 14 at 3:30 PM MST in room W-106C.
Please contact us to arrange an in-person meeting at this year’s AIChE Annual Meeting or to learn more about getting started with Barracuda Virtual Reactor through our various commercial or academic programs. We look forward to seeing you in Phoenix.
About the Fluidization: Modeling Session
Chair: Chris Boyce, Columbia University
Co-Chair: Peter Blaser, CPFD Software
This session will cover topics related to the development of new modeling methodologies and the application of existing methodologies to better understand the nature of fluidization and fluid-particle system behavior for systems composed of gas/solid, liquid/solid, or gas/liquid/solid phases. Papers presenting research related to the development and application of models to elucidate the fundamental nature of reactive and non-reactive fluid-particle interactions and their effects on the flow system are invited.
About the 2022 AIChE Annual Meeting
The AIChE Annual Meeting is the premier educational forum for chemical engineers interested in innovation and professional growth. Academic and industry experts will cover a wide range of topics relevant to cutting-edge research, new technologies, and emerging growth areas in chemical engineering.
