Barracuda Virtual Reactor’s MP-PIC method was combined with LES and detailed reaction kinetics to simulate municipal solid waste-derived fuel gasification in a bubbling fluidized bed, with experimental validation demonstrating how air-to-fuel ratio and feed location influence syngas heating value and hydrocarbon yields.
