The RLM status page shows active licenses only. To view the RLM status page, open a web browser and point it to <license_server_hostname>:5054, where <license_server_hostname> is the hostname or IP address of your license server. In the example shown below, the license server is the localhost. Clicking on “status”, on the left of this page, shows active licenses. Note that one active license is shown, found in “/usr/local/bin/reprise/” with filename “cpfd-license_00000814.ACTIVATED.lic”.
All license files used with the Reprise License Manager (RLM) contain both a start date and an end date. Generally, your first license file is not post-dated: the day you receive your first license the license is valid. However, renewal licenses typically have a start date set to the expiration date of your current license. The RLM server rereads all license files automatically at midnight of each day. Thus, when your current license expires, the new license becomes valid and is shown on the RLM status page.
