1st International Workshop on Reacting Particle-Gas Systems

The first International Workshop will focus on the modelling and experimental characterization of reacting particle-gas systems. It addresses researchers in industry, universities and research centres. The main topics of this workshop are:

• Advancement in simulation of reactive particle-gas systems (especially DEM/CFD)
• Single particle reaction models (detailed, reduced order, pore network models)
• Gas flow and gas phase reactions in particle-gas systems (DNS, LES, porous media models)
• Measurement techniques in particle-gas systems (laser diagnostics, tomographic techniques such as radar tomography, positron emission tomography, magnetic resonance imaging)
• Experiments to validate particle-gas systems simulations
