CPFD Software has been invited to speak at the 2019 Latin America Refining Technology Conference (LARTC), to be held from 1-4 October, 2019 at the Intercontinental Cartagena de Indias, Cartagena, Colombia. Peter Blaser, VP of Engineering Services, will present on the topic of how refiners can get the most out of the catalyst in their FCCUs by considering how the catalyst performs in all components, not just the reactor.
LARTC is the largest annual regional gathering of Latin America’s refining and petrochemical leaders. LARTC, with the full support of host partner Ecopetrol, will focus on the topic of addressing the path for a smooth energy transition in Latin America. For refineries and petrochemical plants to address the key shifts in global demand including the rise in electric vehicles, the conversation among executive downstream stakeholders has moved to biofuels production, renewable plastics and technological advances to support increased energy efficiency. CPFD Software is pleased to support the conference and contribute to these important conversations.
