CPFD Software is pleased to announce that Dr. Sathish Sanjeevi has joined our team as a Research Engineer.
Dr. Sanjeevi has significant experience in research and development involving computational fluid dynamics (CFD) for multiphase and particulate flows. His graduate work includes a Masters Degree in simulation science / computational mechanics from RWTH Aachen University for work involving lattice Boltzmann and finite volume solvers. He then received his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Delft University of Technology for research involving multiscale modeling and fluidization of non-spherical particles and high performance simulations on massively parallel systems.
Most recently, Dr. Sanjeevi held a Researcher position at the National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL) in Morgantown, WV, where he implemented polydispersity features, user defined functions and other features for MFiX. He has published multiple peer-reviewed scientific articles in journals such as the Journal of Fluid Mechanics, the International Journal of Multiphase Flow, Physical Review E, and the AIChE Journal.
We are excited to have Dr. Sanjeevi join the CPFD Software team!
