The following application models have been created by CPFD pertaining to key industries in which Virtual Reactor is used. These application models are intended to provide detailed guidance and instructions for getting started and setting up your model:
Hydrogen production:
- Dry Methane Reforming (DRM): This application model describes the simulation of an isothermal biogas reactor (fluidized bed) in which Hydrogen is produced using dry-methane reforming.
- Glycerol steam reforming: This application model describes the simulation of a fluidized bed reactor in which glycerol is reformed for Hydrogen production
- Sorbent-Enhanced Steam Methane Reforming (SE-SMR): This application model describes the simulation of a fluidized bed in which Hydrogen is produced through steam methane reforming (SMR) along with a Dolomite sorbent.
Cement industry:
- Conditioning tower: This application model describes a model setup for a conditioning tower used to cool down exhaust gas in downstream cement-production process.
