CPFD Software is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Manager to lead our Foundry Products and Service segment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both foundry operations and simulation technology, with at least 10 years of relevant, cumulative experience encompassing coremaking and simulation.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical lead for our foundry products and services initiative with primary responsibility for deploying the industry-leading Arena-flow sand core engineering simulation software technology via software licensing and service contracts.
- Provide technical guidance to customers, assisting them in optimizing their foundry processes using Arena-flow.
- Oversee and personally perform software demonstrations, training and support activities.
- Develop industry-relevant materials.
- Collaborate with software development team to define, develop, and deliver new features and improvements based on industry needs and customer feedback.
- Conduct R&D to innovate and advance our foundry simulation capabilities.
- Mentor and advise a growing team of engineers to deliver high-quality solutions and services in the field of foundry services.
- Engage directly with our user community to understand their challenges, gather requirements, and propose effective solutions.
- Collaborate closely with the VP of Operations to align product strategies with overall business objectives.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and forums to showcase our expertise and solutions.
Qualifications
- Engineering degree, ideally with a focus on MechE, MSE, or similar.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in foundry operations, preferably with specific expertise in coremaking and simulation.
- Familiarity with high-volume coremaking processes including coldbox, warmbox, hotbox, shell, inorganics, etc.
- Proficiency with 3D solid modeling software.
- Proven track record of successfully leading technical projects and teams.
- Proficiency in simulation software related to foundry operations (experience with Arena-flow or similar tools is a big plus).
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Prior experience in a managerial or leadership role preferred.
- International business experience and pattern shop experience are a plus.
