Following the success of the global Barracuda Virtual Reactor Users’ Conference 2019 in Chicago, KyungWon Inc (KW Tech), CPFD Software’s South Korean distributor, is hosting a Barracuda Virtual Reactor Users’ Conference in Korea on Thursday, November 21, 2019 at the Hotel Interciti, Oak Hall (92, Oncheon-ro, Yuseong-gu, Daejeon, South Korea).
Morning Session for Virtual Reactor Users
The conference begins at 10:00 AM and includes presentations by the Korean user community. The primary language for the morning session is Korean.
Afternoon Session for Software Users and Other Interested Parties
Beginning at 1:35 PM, Peter Blaser, CPFD Software’s Vice President of Engineering, will host a workshop intended for a broader audience including software users, service clients and other interested parties. This workshop will provide a first-hand overview of how Barracuda Virtual Reactor® is used to solve practical engineering problems involving fluid-particle applications in multiple industries. In this session, several refining case studies are presented involving multiple components of the fluidized catalytic cracking unit (FCCU) including regenerator maldistribution, NOx and CO emissions, catalyst losses, flue gas line afterburn, catalyst circulation stability in a reactor stripper/standpipe, and feed vaporization/mixing in a riser. Use of the technology for other applications, such as gasification, cement manufacture, circulating fluidized bed combustion, flue gas desulphurization, chemical looping combustion, and research is shown. The primary language for the afternoon session is English.
Please join us to learn how the technology is in use today, and what exciting developments are coming in the near future! Please contact KW Tech or CPFD for more information or to register.
