Dr. Ken Williams and Dr. Dale Snider, Co-Founders and Owners of CPFD Software, are pleased to announce that John Chavez has been appointed as President of CPFD and that Beverly Bendicksen has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Chavez and Ms. Bendicksen, with the current seasoned professional team at CPFD, will manage global business operations for CPFD, developers of Barracuda Virtual Reactor® simulation software for design and process optimization of fluidized reactor systems.
Mr. Chavez brings decades of experience in the software space as an investor, business development executive and salesperson of software products. Mr. Chavez is currently on the board of directors for several early stage New Mexico Start Up companies. Mr. Chavez presents to technology institutions and economic development organizations on technology transfer, early stage financing and organizational development on a regular basis. Mr. Chavez previously worked for the State of New Mexico as the Cabinet Secretary of the Taxation and Revenue Department.
Ms. Bendicksen brings a wealth of experience in the role of strategic Chief Financial Officer. Ms. Bendicksen previously was CFO for Southwest Brands, LLC and Heritage Hotels and Resorts Inc. Her diverse experience includes financial management, equity investments and debt financing. Ms. Bendicksen will focus on continuing to create a robust financial structure for CPFD, determine the financial strategic direction of the company and work with the President and the Owners on an aggressive growth strategy for the company.
