DESCRIPTION:The Global CemFuels Conference and Exhibition has established itself as the largest specialised annual alternative fuels conference and exhibition in the world\, usually attracting more than 150 international delegates and many exhibitors each year. \nThe 15th Global CemFuels event in Lisbon in 2022 will showcase the best alternative fuels projects and equipment from the cement industry from around the world. Fuel mix optimisation and combustion and pyro-process optimisation will be examined in depth. Delegates are expected to attend from more than 35 countries\, to learn from experts how to start to use – or to increase their use of – alternative fuels. If your business is in alternative fuels for the cement and lime industry\, then you must attend! \nStarting in 2022\, the CemFuels Conference will also cover the use of hydrogen as a fuel for cement production. \nThe registration fee includes attendance at the conference and exhibition\, conference proceedings book including delegate names/company/country and all available powerpoint slides\, memory stick including all available presentations in pdf format\, participation in networking/speed-dating sessions\, delegate name badge\, special distribution magazine\, conference briefcase\, coffee breaks and snacks\, lunches\, welcome reception and farewell reception. The CemFuels Awards Gala Dinner is optional and is bookable during registration\, with details on the dinner to be confirmed. The registration fee also includes any required on-site Covid testing. \nSuper Early-Bird registration is £595 and ends on 31 January 2022. The Early-Bird rate of £695 will apply from 1 February until the end of March 2022\, followed by the Standard rate of £795 from 1 April and the Final rate of £895 after 1 September 2022. Cement producers benefit from a £100 discount on these rates. Confirmed speakers register for £495. Confirmed cement-producer-speakers register free. Attendance at the CemFuels Awards Gala Dinner is £125. \nPlease note that fees quoted do not include any applicable local taxes. Portuguese VAT at 23% may be applicable on these rates for Portuguese and non-EU delegates. \nNote: The organisers reserve the right to alter future registration fees on an ongoing-basis\, if required by currency movements or other unavoidable circumstances. We are happy to announce that the 24th International Conference on Fluidized Bed Conversion will take place 8-11th May 2022 at Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg\, Sweden. The 24th FBC conference will cover the latest development related to fluidized bed conversion\, from fundamentals to applications\, in addition to the latest research and developments within novel applications such as gasification\, CO2 capture and chemical- and calcium looping. \n  \nCPFD Software will be attending FBC 24 and will be speaking on on “The role of GPU computing in accelerating commercialization and scale-up of thermochemical conversion processes”.
