DESCRIPTION:PSRI’s Basic Concepts in Fluidization takes place on Tuesday\, May 30\, 2023 at 9:00 AM CDT. \nFluidized bed reactors are widely used in many process industries such as catalytic cracking\, fluid coking\, coal combustion and polyethylene production. This is because of the fluidized bed’s superiority as a gas-solids contacting technique. The basic concepts of the different fluidization regimes\, how they differ and the relative advantages and disadvantages of each will be addressed.
