DESCRIPTION:CPFD Software has been invited to speak at Fluidization XVII. \nCPFD’s staff are authors on two presentations: \n\nToday’s Tools in the Scale up and Optimization of Today’s Fluidized Processes will be presented by James Parker at 3:45 PM on Monday\, May 22\, 2022 in Modelling Session 2: Systems Modeling.  This work is co-authored by Ray Cocco (PSRI) and Peter Blaser (CPFD Software).\nThe Development of Improved Particle Drag Force Correlations for CFD Simulation will also be presented by James Parker at 4:00 PM on Wednesday\, May 24 in Modelling Session 6: Coarse Grained Simulations.\n\nAdditional information about each presentation is available here. \nFluidization XVII will aim to bridge fundamental research and emerging applications of fluidization for novel fluidization technologies. The 17th iteration of this conference will bring together world renowned experts in the field. \nWith a long established tradition\, this series of conferences has been held all over the world tackling challenges and successes with the design and operation of fluidized beds and similar fluid-particle systems. This newest session will continue to play this role and stimulate the interplay between the academic and industrial communities to address the challenges for the future of fluidization technology.
